Analytical Service
Overview
Sirius analytical service provides a reliable and cost-effective source of outsourcing for PhysChem measurements at three broad stages of the drug discovery and development process.
Medicinal Chemistry & Hit to Lead.
For each sector our portfolio of services is designed to provide optimum levels of information, reliability and turnaround
Since 1991 we have provided an analytical service to our customers, during which time thousands of compounds have been measured for a wide range of PhysChem properties.
Our experienced chemists provide the highest quality service using state-of-the-art instrumentation. We work with our clients to ensure the most applicable analytical protocol is used. All analyses are fully confidential.
All work is carried out under strictly controlled conditions, and comprehensive analysis reports are provided . All calibrations and reagent standardisations are recorded. Assay results are quoted with reference to all relevant calibrations, standardisations, instrument identification and operator identification. All relevant documentation is available for audit.
To use the Analytical Service, select the assay from the relevant area on the left, complete the relevant sample registration form and send it to us with your samples. If required, please send your Confidentiality Agreement in advance for signature and filing.
Standard Assay conditions
Where applicable, our standard assay conditions are:
| Temperature | 25°C |
| Ionic strength background | 0.15M potassium chloride |
| CoSolvents | methanol, dioxane, dimethyl sulfoxide |
| Partition solvent | octan-1-ol |
| Standard screening pH | pH7.4 |
For the screening services, samples should be 10mM DMSO solutions.
Alternate conditions are supported, however a surcharge may be made to cover the additional work required.
Custom Analysis
Our flexible titration based instruments can be applied to other areas of research, including:
Dissolution & Precipitation rates
